This research aims to know the experience of the student silent in the classroom. In this research, only one student from Junior High School Nurul Jadid in Paiton Probolinggo because she is silent person in the classroom but active in LIPS English activities. This research method uses narrative inquiry. The type of research is qualitative research that takes place in the Language Intensive of SMP Nurul Jadid. Techniques data collection methods in this study used interview. Six interview questions asked to know the causes of student silent EFL in the classroom. The results of the study explain revealed that students are not always silent as people who do nothing in class, but also how students learn. The findings of this research are about student silent study into EFL, passive silent, and active silent. Student silent are not always silent when learning English, because this study reveals that student silent remain active when studying in classroom.
