Vocabulary mastery is essential for a person’s competence in conveying ideas and comprehending meanings in communication. The Snowball Throwing method is an interactive learning technique where students create questions on ball-shaped paper based on the material studied, which are then distributed to peers. This study aims to evaluate the improvement of students' vocabulary mastery through the implementation of the Snowball Throwing method at MTs Nurul Jadid.

This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the model by Kemmis and McTaggart, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 26 students from class VII Tahfidz 2. The research was successfully concluded in a single cycle, as the students achieved the success criteria within that period. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 25.

The findings indicate a significant improvement in student performance; the average pre-test score was 62, which increased to 86.3 in the post-test. Furthermore, observation results demonstrated a substantial shift in student engagement, moving from passive to active participation during the learning process. In conclusion, the Snowball Throwing method is highly effective in improving students' vocabulary mastery and fostering a more dynamic classroom environment.
