Keywords: Learning Habit, YouTube, Students’ Perception.

This study aims to investigate students' perceptions of utilizing YouTube as a tool for English learning habits. Conducted in May 2023, the research involved six students in their sixth semester at the English Education Department of Nurul Jadid University. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, utilizing observation and interviews as the primary research instruments. Observation was used to monitor the use of YouTube for English learning habits outside the classroom, while interviews were conducted to gather in-depth opinions regarding these habits. The findings indicate that students hold positive perceptions of using YouTube for language learning. Key benefits identified include the ability to develop ideas, acquire additional knowledge, and enhance listening and speaking skills. Furthermore, students valued the flexibility to repeat educational videos and select specific materials, making the English learning process more engaging. In conclusion, the use of YouTube has numerous positive impacts on EFL learners, serving as an effective medium for improving English skills and fostering better independent learning habits.
