This study aims to determine the effect of learning strategies before, during, and after Reading (BDA) on students' reading comprehension achievement. This strategy encourages students to activate their prior knowledge by listing or mentioning what they know about the topic of the text before reading, taking notes during reading, and summarizing after reading. This study used the Classroom Action Research. These populations were the twelfth grade students of IPA 3 at MAN 1 Probolinggo. The instruments used to collect data are pre-test and post-test. The findings show that the implementation of the BDA Strategy has an effect on students' reading comprehension. The results showed that the students' pre-test scores had an average of 66, the results of the students' post-test analysis showed an average of 81.3. The post-test score was significantly higher than the pre-test. It concluded that the implementation of the Strategy before, during, and after Reading improve student's reading comprehension for the twelfth grade of science program students at MAN 1 Probolinggo.
