This research was initiated by the identification of several challenges in the learning process, including students' lack of self-confidence, difficulty in memorization, and struggles with word pronunciation. Consequently, the researcher implemented the repetition technique to strengthen students' memory and facilitate vocabulary mastery without the burden of rote memorization. Vocabulary mastery is defined as the comprehensive skill of understanding a language's lexicon and meanings, while the repetition technique involves repeated encounters with words to enable learners to retrieve meanings and forms for creative use. This study aims to determine the effect of this technique on vocabulary mastery through Classroom Action Research (CAR). The participants were 13 male students of class VII-A at SMP Insan Terpadu during the 2022/2023 academic year. Data were collected using qualitative instruments (observation) and quantitative instruments (pre-test and post-test scores). The research was completed in a single cycle as the results demonstrated significant progress; the mean score increased from 58 in the pre-test to 82 in the post-test, thereby achieving the criteria for success. Furthermore, observation results indicated that students were highly engaged and successfully mastered the vocabulary according to the four success criteria established for the teaching and learning process during the implementation of the repetition technique.
