This study analyzes students' perspectives on vocabulary learning through English songs as an English learning medium in Excellent Language Organization (EXO) dormitory. This study aims to find out students' perspectives on the use of English songs in vocabulary learning and identify factors that influence students' perspectives. The researcher used qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data were collected using field observations and interviews with 10 students of twelfth grade using thematic data. The stages in data analysis in this study use a flow model where the stages include data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. In the research findings generated from data information, students have a positive perspective of vocabulary learning using English songs. Several factors influence students' perspective, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include students' motivation, attitude, and interest in songs. External factors include support from parents, friends, and an active learning environment. So, songs are proven to create a pleasant learning atmosphere. Songs serve as a learning medium that not only supports vocabulary acquisition but also active involvement in learning. In conclusion, English songs have great benefits for vocabulary learning and are effective pedagogical strategies in providing motivation, increasing confidence, and expanding linguistic knowledge.
