Abstract

Nor, Qiftiyah. 2024. Satisfaction Level of Santri Towards the Use of E-learning in Different Level Listening Courses. Undergraduate Program Nurul Jadid University. Advisor (I) Bradiansyah Tri Suryanto, S.S., M.pd.

Keyword: Student satisfaction, Use e-learning, Listening course

This study aims to explore the level of student satisfaction with the use of e-learning in Basic Listening and Advance Listening courses at Nurul Jadid University. Involving 60 students from two levels, the study used a mixed approach, combining a Likert scale questionnaire and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to collect data. The questionnaire results showed that the majority of students were satisfied with the use of e-learning, with 71.4% of Basic level students and 65.6% of Advance level students stating that e-learning contributed positively to their learning motivation. FGDs revealed that factors such as ease of access, quality of materials, interactivity, and lecturer support strongly influence students' learning experience. In addition, external factors such as internet speed also play an important role in determining the effectiveness of e-learning use. This research emphasizes the importance of adequate technological infrastructure to support successful e-learning implementation. Although this study provides a deep insight into the benefits of e-learning, there are limitations in the sample size and reliance on self-report data. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions continue to develop e-learning platforms with attention to student feedback, as well as conduct training for lecturers to maximize the use of technology. Periodic evaluation of e-learning effectiveness is also important to identify areas of improvement. With an approach that is responsive to student needs, e-learning can improve the quality of education and prepare students to face challenges in an increasingly digitalized world of work.
